About Bob

Bob Furlong – My Story

Bob is a Wealth Advisor whose loyalty and commitment to his clients run deep; he seeks to cultivate long-term relationships with whom he works.  Bob believes that achieving financial goals takes time and that mutual success derives from a constructive dialogue sustained over time.

Bob earned the Certified Financial Planner™ education from Boston University.  He achieved this certification by meeting the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP® Board. He successfully completed financial planning coursework, passed the certification examination and meets the stringent continuing education requirements.

Bob is married to Rebecca, a native of Murrells Inlet. They have two children, Mary-Lois and Wilson. Bob is an active member of the Murrells Inlet Rotary Club and Friends of Brookgreen Gardens. Outside of the office Bob enjoys coaching his children’s youth sports teams, boating with the family and spending time on the golf course.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™ and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
